Trader Scott
The theme song is actually from the fantastic original 1978 hit movie “Halloween”. The film made around $70 million on a budget of less than $500,000. Now there’s an investment. It was the film debut for Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays Michael Myers‘ sister. And no matter what people tried to do, no one seemed to be able to kill him. Apparently Michael didn’t try to double cross the Clintons. So like Freddy Krueger from the “Nightmare on Elm Street” movies, all attempts to kill these horror movie characters failed miserably – just like government programs, they never die. And that’s the beauty of shiny new programs in the eyes of the leeches who vote for these horrors, because they know these disasters will continue to suck the life out of the taxpayers. And now Obamacare will be here forever – scaring us, tormenting us, regulating us, and taxing us to death.
The USS Trump Is Taking On Water
Remember the Trump for President motto “Repeal and Replace” Obamacare. Well it morphed into “Rejigger and Rename”, and then into “Reboot and Remain”. The President’s other campaign promises/marketing ploys are in trouble, or worse. The Trump border “adjustment” tax is deceased, the Trump tax cuts will be defanged, the Trump infrastructure plan has departed, and the Trump “Mexico will pay for the Wall” supposition has always been delusional. Hope and euphoria are powerful emotions. A lot of voters climbed aboard the USS Trump, with all of the wonderful campaign “promises”. But the romance/bromance is cooling. What should be truly frightening to those of us who voted for Donald Trump, is that he actually tried to ram his own bloated health care bill thru Congress. It shows once again that what they do in government is never about us, it’s always about them.
Grace Commission II: The Sequel
No bureaucracy voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. It’s always humorous to see a candidate run for office on a ridiculous oxymoronic “anti-government” platform. Ronald Reagan came to Washington filled with, oddly enough, anti-Washington rhetoric. But he had it right when he said, “Actually, a government program is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this Planet.” President Reagan’s lame attempt to reduce “waste and inefficiency” in government resulted in the Grace Commission. It bombed at the box office. Expect to see a new and improved Grace Commission with this Administration. It will also be a total bust.
There’s only one last ditch solution to end government programs – we need to call an Exorcist:
But, but, he promised…
“How can you have pudding if you don’t eat your meat?”
Bush III?
