The Climate Change Marketing Scam and the Secular Bond Bear Market

This world is in big trouble with all of the total scamming about “global warming”. I did a post about this a couple years ago and the dumb theories about the “climate” are even dumber now. How this fits in to markets is discussed below with a recent post. The huge problem with this scam job is that the Earth is in fact not warming, it is cooling, the data is easily available for anybody to access. There are two articles below discussing this. But the “climate” is now a RELIGION. And the “deniers” like myself are just stupid, low IQ, uneducated morons. We are so incompetent that we can not understand “science”. And why is this such a problem with the ACTUAL temperature situation? Because the media, the govts, the “educational” institutions have all done a phenomenal marketing scam job and we now have put ALL of our CAPITAL into combating global warming. We have zero preparation for a cooling planet – SUNSPOTS. No resources put there. None. We are NOT PREPARED at all. But we are prepared for flooding which will not happen, soaring planetary temperatures which will not happen, carbon “pollution” which is the most idiotic theory in the whole climate movement. So we have carbon taxes, regulations to allegedly lower temperatures. The whole thing is rotten.

So we have the elitists who are so brilliant that they can barely tie their own shoes, and so braindead to think that man has even .000000001% effect on the temperature of this huge planet with OUR massive HUMONGOUS round yellow thing up in the sky, in our GARGANTUAN COLOSSAL galaxy, in the INFINITE universe. Can these people be any more ARROGANT? They are the same types of folks who have totally screwed up almost everything in their – central banks, governments, huge bureaucracies, universities, public schools – and did I mention GOVERNMENTS. And we are supposed to listen to these clowns?

What’s scary about all of this, is that we are moving into a difficult period for all of the populations – rising bond yields, for decades, in this wildly debt-intoxicated world, is here – and again – NO ONE IN POWER, nor virtually any citizens – are prepared for that either. I have done my part warning about the dangerous situation with the bond yields rising. I have been SPOT ON about the massive massive bond market problems coming at us since beginning doing detailed public posts about it – in June 2016 in a public post, updated that in December of 2016 in a public post, again in October 2017 in a public post – and at least 100x in subscriber posts. When we combine the multi-decade bond bear market, with the cooling, and other factors discussed below – are you even thinking about any of this yet?

The world, the planet, the population, does very well in times of warmer temperatures, we should all want the carbon “pollution” to work its magic. The high IQ, Mensa level, extremely well educated “climate change” geniuses – they are going to be PRAYING for global warming in a couple of years.

So here we are, multi-multi-year highs across the bond yield curve, I have laid this out beautifully for everyone…I have studied intensely the last secular bond bear, and generally understand what is going on. The world in 5 years will look vastly different than today. Very few humans, as adults, including me, have witnessed a bond bear market – 1940-1981 was the last one. The world is wildly complacent, the low/falling bond yields for 35+ years have INTOXICATED people via dampening volatility, allowing them to binge on debt for totally unproductive things and live their lives in relatively stable conditions. And so they can then get “triggered” because their lives are so darn good overall and they are 100% unappreciative of WHY THAT IS, and so again they can spend all their time on nothingness. The world is WASTED. So so many people presently are totally focused on, and protesting, the most moronic crap in the US. They won’t be protesting it in a few years, the bond yields will “solve” their problems, they won’t care anymore about their stupid self-made “problems”. Between GLOBAL COOLING, crop failures, wars, huge govt debt problems, consistent inflation, rising taxes, and rising stock and commodity markets – I have tried to warn people about this, and have done my part.

Inconvenient Science: NASA data show that global temperatures dropped sharply over the past two years. Not that you’d know it, since that wasn’t deemed news. Does that make NASA a global warming denier?

“The 2016-2018 Big Chill,” he writes, “was composed of two Little Chills, the biggest five month drop ever (February to June 2016) and the fourth biggest (February to June 2017). A similar event from February to June 2018 would bring global average temperatures below the 1980s average.”

Isn’t this just the sort of man-bites-dog story that the mainstream media always says is newsworthy?

In this case, it didn’t warrant any news coverage.

In fact, in the three weeks since Real Clear Markets ran Brown’s story, no other news outlet picked up on it. They did, however, find time to report on such things as tourism’s impact on climate change, how global warming will generate more hurricanes this year, and threaten fish habitats, and make islands uninhabitable. They wrote about a UN official saying that “our window of time for addressing climate change is closing very quickly.”

Reporters even found time to cover a group that says they want to carve President Trump’s face into a glacier to prove climate change “is happening.”

In other words, the mainstream news covered stories that repeated what climate change advocates have been saying ad nauseam for decades.

That’s not to say that a two-year stretch of cooling means that global warming is a hoax. Two years out of hundreds or thousands doesn’t necessarily mean anything. And there could be a reasonable explanation. But the drop in temperatures at least merits a “Hey, what’s going on here?” story.

What’s more, journalists are perfectly willing to jump on any individual weather anomaly — or even a picture of a starving polar bear — as proof of global warming. (We haven’t seen any stories pinning Hawaii’s recent volcanic activity on global warming yet, but won’t be surprised if someone tries to make the connection.)

We’ve noted this refusal to cover inconvenient scientific findings many times in this space over the years.

Hiding The Evidence

There was the study published in the American Meteorological Society’s Journal of Climate showing that climate models exaggerate global warming from CO2 emissions by as much as 45%. It was ignored.

Then there was the study in the journal Nature Geoscience that found that climate models were faulty, and that, as one of the authors put it, “We haven’t seen that rapid acceleration in warming after 2000 that we see in the models.”

Nor did the press see fit to report on findings from the University of Alabama-Huntsvilleshowing that the Earth’s atmosphere appears to be less sensitive to changing CO2 levels than previously assumed.

How about the fact that the U.S. has cut CO2 emissions over the past 13 years faster than any other industrialized nation? Or that polar bear populations are increasing? Or that we haven’t seen any increase in violent weather in decades?

Crickets.

Reporters no doubt worry that covering such findings will only embolden “deniers” and undermine support for immediate, drastic action.

But if fears of catastrophic climate change are warranted — which we seriously doubt — ignoring things like the rapid cooling in the past two years carries an even bigger risk.

Suppose, Brown writes, the two-year cooling trend continues. “At some point the news will leak out that all global warming since 1980 has been wiped out in two and a half years, and that record-setting events went unreported.”

He goes on: “Some people could go from uncritical acceptance of steadily rising temperatures to uncritical refusal to accept any warming at all.”

Brown is right. News outlets should decide what gets covered based on its news value, not on whether it pushes an agenda. Otherwise, they’re doing the public a disservice and putting their own already shaky credibility at greater risk.

A LONG cold winter could hit space in months bringing record low temperatures, NASA has warned.

That’s the warning from a scientist who fears sunspot activity on the surface of our star has dropped so low that record low temperatures could soon set in.

“We see a cooling trend,” says Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center.

“High above Earth’s surface, near the edge of space, our atmosphere is losing heat energy.

“If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold.”

Solar minimum can enhance the effects of space weather, disrupt communications and navigation, and even cause space junk to “hang around”, NASA said.

Mlynczak and his colleagues have recently introduced the “Thermosphere Climate Index” (TCI), which measure the how much heat nitric oxide (NO) molecules are dumping into space.

The results come from the SABER instrument onboard NASA’s TIMED satellite, that monitor infrared emissions from carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO).

By measuring the infrared glow of these molecules, SABER can assess the thermal state of gas at the very top of the atmosphere – a layer researchers call “the thermosphere.”

When the thermosphere cools, it shrinks, making the radius of the Earth’s atmosphere smaller.

This means it can delay the natural decay of space junk, resulting in a more cluttered environment around Earth.

“Right now, it is very low indeed,” Mlynczak told Space Weather.

“SABER is currently measuring 33 billion Watts of infrared power from NO. That’s 10 times smaller than we see during more active phases of the solar cycle.”

“The thermosphere always cools off during Solar Minimum. It’s one of the most important ways the solar cycle affects our planet,” explains Mlynczak.

“We’re not there quite yet,” he said of the record cold, “but it could happen in a matter of months.”
