The Entry Points: Why We Created This Website and What It Can Do for You

The Entry Points

by Stevie Swai

Trader Scott and I have really enjoyed sharing The Entry Points website with you, our visitors and subscribers, since we launched it back in March of this year. It has not only been a forum for us to share the knowledge and wisdom that my friend Scott has acquired over 25 years on his path to achieving wealth (through trading only), but it has been deeply satisfying to hear of the successes you all are experiencing as well. This is why we created it – we want to see you succeed.

The concept for The Entry Points was born out of our friendship and the fact that Scott completely transformed me as a trader. I had known of Scott and his work for many years, and was amazed at his consistency at nailing the ideal times to buy and sell gold and silver. Or when he consistently talked about being bullish on stocks, and disagreeing with the stock market crash meme. And the same idea regarding bonds as a trade when everyone else was on the other side. We “bonded” over market talk and trading stories, and I cheered him on as he wrote for several different websites. And then a year ago, the idea came to me that he should have his own site to share with the world what he so passionately loves – markets.

He actually wasn’t too keen on the idea at first. A lot of work goes in to creating and maintaining a site and I think the idea of doing it alone left him a little cold. After all, he is a trader, and there’s not exactly a lot in it for him to do a website. But after some thinking, he proposed we do it together because we tend to feed off of each other‘s excitement, and here we are a whole year later. And the journey has only just begun.

The Entry Points is evolving in ways we had not planned e.g. our focus on trading small stocks. Trader Scott’s background has been more in trading the indexes, but I have always traded lower priced volatile stocks that are moving. Once he was confident about the profits that could be made in them, especially for smaller accounts, our direction turned more into showing people how to build up an account as opposed to investing. After all, investing only makes sense when you have a large sum of cash already. Our goal is to help you grow your account. And become rich and live happily ever after. LOL.

So there you have it, a little background on why this website exists and how it can serve you. Your questions and comments on how we can improve it’s offerings are more than welcomed and we encourage you to share your ideas. Please let us know how we are doing.

  1. You’ve both have done a great job in such a short time, just keep in mind there might always be some like myself at the remedial level still working on the fundamentals.

    • First of all you’re doing great and far above remedial, and we enjoy your insightful comments and viewpoint. Secondly, I’m gearing all of my trading now for a small account perspective – building an account approach. And there is no better teacher than the trading itself.

  2. ‘Close Sugar’ ‘Close Sugar’. Ive just finished Reminiscences of a Stock Operator. Great book.
Thanks both for this website. I check in everyday.

  3. Thanks to this effort I’ve cone a long way in my perspective on trading, stocks, markets etc… thanks for leading the way and sharing so much! Keep it up y’all….

        • Somewhere with aqua blue, crystal clear water and white silky sand. I see us all laying in big, comfortable hammocks with our laptops doing some kick$#@ trading. Trader Scott can bring his super dreamy talent on the bass and serenade us 😉 What a great life. Hey–you making any good trades?

  4. Hi,

Back home now….catching up on my reading. Wanted to take this opportunity to thank you guys for an amazing website…both the blog and the subscription site. Both are great for learning and if you want to make serious money…the 2nd site is the best out there in the business.

Am still learning….but to know that I am on the right path with mentors is vey comforting and reassuring. Makes the ( my) mistakes acceptable and develop an attitude to move on to the next trade idea …

So thank you for your work and kindness & patience with me !

    Much appreciated,

    Aamer
