For anybody who has questions about different trading platforms to use, I like Tradingview as a general platform, used in conjunction with my brokerages platforms. The following is a “tutorial”.
From Wikipedia:
TradingView is a web service and social network for traders, with a platform for technical analysis. The site was launched in September, 2011. TradingView is available with a paid subscription, and with a limited free version.
In May 2013 the company was chosen to participate in the Techstars accelerator in Chicago, where partnerships with Microsoft and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were announced. In July 2015 the company raised $3.6 million from iTech Capital and other investors.
TradingView is geared toward private investors and traders. The service is available in three languages and has around 500,000 users in over 175 countries; the majority are from the United States. Users have published over 500,000 trading ideas since the service began
Its main capabilities are in trading of equities, futures and Forex. TradingView also has its own scripting language, Pine Script, and built-in script editor. This scripting allows the user to customize the display of technical indicators, the look and feel of their experience on the trading window, and other features.
Thanks Scott… I’ll be watching many times. 🙂
Trying to save you some steps.
