The great Casey Kasem used to do “touching” weekend song dedications on his very popular weekend shows. I would like to continue that tradition. But instead of touching dedications, mine will be mocking dedications. The first one last week, Don’t Fear the Reaper, was dedicated to the almost 35 year bond bull market. And I will re-dedicate it next month, when on Oct. 26th it has its’ 35th birthday. The epic bond bull market started in 1981 when intra-day yields on the long bond hit 15.21%. And yes, I do believe next decade those yields will be retested.
But, gosh, how rude of me – back to today’s dedication. The always honest, trustworthy, vivacious, compassionate, and energetic Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was the First Lady of the US from 1993 – 2001. She was the very effective and dedicated Secretary of State from 2009 – 2013 and US Senator from 2001 – 2009. And (please, please fingers crossed) the next President of the US.
So Hillary this song is dedicated to you.

About
Trader Scott has been involved with markets for over twenty years. Initially he was an individual floor trader and member of the Midwest Stock Exchange, which then led to a much better opportunity at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. By his early 30’s, he had become very successful in markets, but a health situation caused him to back away from the grind of being a full time floor trader. During this time away from markets, Scott was completely focused on educating himself about true overall health and natural healing which remains a passion to this day. Scott returned to markets over fifteen years ago where he continues as an independent trader.
